Pranayama is a Sanskrit word that means extension of the breath or prana. Pranayama or Ekhart Yoga is the collection of breathing techniques aimed at regulating the flow of breath through the body, infusing better flow of life energy (Prana) in our system during the process. This is a part of Ashtanga Yoga and is considered the best solution for charging our body the meditation way.

Pranayama is practiced in various forms such as anulom vilom pranayama, bhastrika pranayam, kapal bharti, udgeet, ujjayee, Bhramri and so on.
