Swara in Sanskrit means Sound. It also denotes the uninterrupted flow of air through one nostril. So, using the powers of breathing control, awareness, and controlled flow of air through nostril (breathing patterns), Swara Yoga aims at delivering better physical health and mental strength

Swara Yoga is based on tantric science and involves systematic study of flow of air through nostril keeping in view the position, movement and phases of the moon and keeping record of time. it consists of Ida nadi (breathing through left nostril), pingala nadi (breathing through right nostril), and sushumna nadi (third swara located in spinal cord). This Yoga involves a series of breathing exercises and recommends focus on breathing and controlling it during various activities done during a day.
