Yin Yoga is the series of slow-paced movements where asanas (poses) are held for appreciably longer time. Comprising of mostly the supine and seated poses, Yin Yoga is focused at attaining deeper access to fascia and improving the mental resilience in the process. Unlike Vinyasa Yoga where the poses are to be changed within 10 seconds or so, this yoga expects even the beginners to hold the pose for at least 45 seconds.
